Start with the underlying sources
We prioritize the operator’s current terms, bonus rules, KYC policy, withdrawal documentation and VIP conditions. Where we discuss a licence, a regulator’s register is the preferred verification source. An operator’s licence claim alone is not the same as an independently checked registration.
We record relevant source links and check dates so readers can inspect the basis of a claim. Help articles and promotion-specific rules may differ from general terms. If we cannot resolve a conflict, we explain it rather than choosing the more attractive version.
What we examine
- Eligibility and verification: restricted locations, account requirements, possible document requests and withdrawal checks.
- Bonuses: eligibility, wagering basis, expiry, game contribution, maximum bets and withdrawal restrictions where documented.
- Withdrawals: stated processing rules, limits, fees and the difference between operator approval and blockchain confirmation.
- VIP rewards: qualification, calculation rules, claim windows and any discretionary benefits.
- Player controls: documented limits, account closure, self-exclusion and routes for complaints.
Research is not a withdrawal test
Our initial reviews are based on public-source research. We have not completed funded-account or withdrawal tests for them. A claim such as “instant withdrawals” is attributed to the operator unless we have direct evidence of a specific transaction.
If we later publish a test, its record should identify the test date, currency and network, relevant amount, verification status, request time, broadcast or transaction evidence, and completion time. Sensitive account information must be redacted. One transaction cannot establish typical performance for every player.
How comparisons are made
We compare equivalent conditions and explain which differences matter for a particular need. An unknown field is not a zero, a failure or a tie. Matching wording does not establish matching performance.
Recommendations should identify their basis and limitations. We do not manufacture numerical ratings to fill a design, or use “tested,” “verified” or “best” as substitutes for evidence. A commercial agreement does not establish that an operator is better.
Reader reports and corrections
A reader report can point us toward a problem, but it does not automatically establish what happened. We look for supporting evidence and distinguish an allegation from a documented finding. We do not publish private identity documents or wallet credentials.
Use contact and corrections to flag an issue. Material factual changes should explain what changed on the affected page; updating a date alone is not a substitute for checking the content.
What launch dates mean
We distinguish a casino’s public launch from company incorporation, domain registration, a token launch or a redesign. Exact dates need supporting evidence; if only the year is known, we show the year.
Our editorial labels use “new launch” for the previous 12 months and “recent launch” for 12–24 months. Age is not a safety rating or proof that few players have registered.
Read our editorial policy and commercial disclosure for the standards that accompany this process.
